Dignity Speech & Rehab specializes in providing education and consultation services to a multitude of individuals & settings. With over a decade of service in the industry and countless educational presentations across a variety of platforms, we are here to provide the most up-to-date research and care regarding swallowing, feeding, and cognitive communication disorders.

With a high priority for current research and evidence based practice, along with a long track record of community service and educational speaking engagements, Dignity Speech & Rehab is happy to provide community and facility education sessions. Some examples of past engagements have been:

• Podcast guest speaker for the IU School of Medicine and Indiana Geriatrics Education and Training Center initiative: 'Geriatrics on the Go!'
• Facilitator and guest speaker for various stroke support groups
• Presenting on the Youtube channel of Orange County, California's highest ranked hospital and Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center 
• Providing educational sessions on various topics to hospital staff including executive management staff, doctors, and charge nurses.

An often overlooked area of palliative care and hospice can be communication & swallowing. At Dignity Speech & Rehab, we understand the importance of  quality of life and following the wishes of our patients and families. Independently or in conjunction with your local hospice service, we offer diagnosis, treatment, and (often most importantly) education for speech/language and swallowing services to aid in decision making and improving the overall care, wellbeing, and comfort for you and your loved one.

Acute and progressive neurological changes can be stressful and unpredictable at times. Let us help you or your loved one navigate these stressors while offering exceptional services within speech, voice, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.  Dignity Speech & Rehab has experience with a variety of  neurological disorders including stroke, dementia, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, traumatic brain injuries (TBI,) various brain cancers, and many more.

Our goal is to use research and evidence-based practice to help you start enjoying items that you love again. We will discuss your goals, the latest research, and work through a tailored plan that gets you on track to a happier and healthier you.

Communication and cognition can be vital to our well being and participation in society. Both can impact safety, independence, quality of life, and engagement. Whether your goal is to improve your speech or communication,  pragmatics or social skills, vocal quality, maintain independence, or a variety of other skills, we will focus on your goals to assist in rehabilitation, habilitation, and maximizing of compensatory strategies when needed to help increase your quality of life. 

We provide In-person & Telehealth services as needed. No matter what your health needs are, having a team support you will keep you on the path to meeting them. We work together to connect you with the services you need, including via telehealth when necessary.
