At this time, we are unable to accept any personal insurance. All services are direct pay with the exception of some hospice/ palliative care patients. In these circumstances, payment is often via the hospice agency if we are contracted with them. In the event that we are not contracted with your agency, we will quickly reach out to the provider and attempt to set up a contract when able. 

Often times, individuals nearing the end of life are either told they can 'eat whatever they want' or that it is unsafe to eat/drink and that no oral intake is recommended. Both of these scenarios may not align with the needs or desires of the patient. For example, placing an entire meal in front of someone can be overwhelming and lead to poor intake, while telling someone they can't eat or drink anything at all can be quite devastating news and lead to a myriad of other medical and personal issues.  Having a specialized feeding and swallowing expert can be invaluable when evaluating and providing detailed education and treatment plans surrounding oral intake. 

At Dignity Speech & Rehab, we strive to hear the wants and desires of our patients and their loved ones; from there, we create a tailored care plan that brings dignity back to the individual. We provide extensive education to the patient and the family members to ensure the patient's needs and desires are met when it comes to enjoying food and drinks for however long possible.
